We just got back from the Wildflower Music and Arts Festival in Richardson, TX.  The Renfrees were blessed by Bill Ward asking us to share the stage with him during his set on Friday the 14th.  It was an awesome night and we had a great turnout!  Thanks to everyone who shared the evening with us! We had an awesome time!

The Wildflower Music and Arts Festival is an annual event that happens in the City of Richardson, TX.  It features performers at every level from local to National Touring Acts. This year they had acts like The B-52’s, .38 Special, and so many more.  The festival features 3 outdoor stages and the Singer/Songwriter stage that is located in the Eisman Center for Performing arts (This is where we played!). The theater is amazing. Top shelf sound system, staff and environment!  What an amazing experience that was! Great thanks to the City of Richardson, TX and to Al and Pam Johnson for putting on such an amazing event!

The Renfrees are proud to have been invited to add a song to the “Shoulder To The Stone” compilation CD for Haitian relief. The CD is now on sale and can be purchased at www.mytexasmusic.com with proceeds from the sale of the CD to benefit the Orphelinat Petit De L’Enfant Jesus De Prague (an orphanage decimated by the January earthquake) and Jimmy Jean-Noel (a relief worker who lost his home and family in the earthquake).

The Renfrees will also be performing at the CD Release Party on April 3rd at JP Hops House located at 2317 S. Hwy 6 in Houston. The CD will be available for a $15 donation and the event is free to guests. Several of the artists who’s music appear on the CD will be performing at this event as well as a group rendition of the song “Shoulder To The Stone” written by Saylor White and Jack Saunders.

The Renfrees announce that their first, and as yet untitled, CD release is nearing completion.  The Renfrees claim the CD to be a mix of tracks that will appeal to anyone who loves good music.  The CD will be released on New Wrinkle Records and is expected to be available in early Spring 2010.  Look for announcements about the final release dates.  Fans will have the opportunity to pre-order their copies of the CD prior to the actual release date.
